21 English Sentences: As for, As for as, As to

(i)          ‘As for’ is Preposition.

Synonyms:
About, as regards, as to, concerning, on the subject of, regarding, respecting, with regard/relation to
Note: As for is almost always put at the beginning of a sentence.

Sentences:
1.  As for math class, I'd better skip it today.
2.  As for Millie, she will pay for her own ticket.
3.  As for our business, it is not doing well.
4.  As for this cycle, there is nothing to do but sell it.
5.  As for Tom’s arrival here, we are eagerly waiting.

(ii)                ‘As for as’ is Conjunction and Preposition.

Synonyms:
As for, concerning, for as great a distance as, regarding, to the degree/extent that.
Note: ‘As far as’ has recently been used as a preposition, especially in speech.

Sentences:
1.  Anne decided to walk as far as the Heritage Mall.
2.  As far as my own house, I don't want one at present.

(iii)               ‘As to’ is Preposition.

According to, concerning, in a manner conforming/corresponding to, in proportion, with reference/regard to, with respect to

2.  Doctor doesn’t know as to who received the treatment.
3.  I am astonished as to how Jack cleared the test.
4.  They are not sure as to how to pay the electric bill.
5.  We are not sure as to who would carry the bag.

7.  Zany is puzzled as to how it happened to Julie.
