21 English Sentences: Has, Have, Had

(i)                   ‘Has’ is Verb.

Synonyms:
third-person singular simple present indicative form of have

Sentences:
1.  Anne has got two smart daughters.
2.  Has Tim finished his work?
3.  Millie has got long reddish hair.
4.  She has to see the doctor today.
5.  The dog has injured itself.
6.  What has he done?
7.  Zany has been working since morning.

(ii)                ‘Have’ is Verb.

Synonyms:
Third-person singular simple present has

Sentences:
1.  Have another glass of juice!
2.  Have you got a good camera.
3.  How many shirts do you have?
4.  I won't have that boy in my house.
5.  Millie is having a shower.
6.  They have got a horse and a mule.
7.  We don't have any money left.

(iii)               ‘Had’ is Verb.

Synonyms:
Simple past and past participle of has and have

Sentences:
1.  Anne had to pay $2,500 for this car.
2.  Had I known, I would have helped you.
3.  Harry had several operations already.
4.  I had to go to the doctor.
5.  We had a lot of fun at the beach.
